Vic and Sharon Prislipsky have traveled the United States extensively enjoying the beauty and diversity of this vast land. Although they have always had a love for photography, after retiring from careers in public education they were able to pursue it with a passion. Photography for them is more than taking snapshots to record observations or preserve memories of good times. It is a means of creative expression.

Both Vic and Sharon grew up in Western Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. After winding up their careers as public educators, primarily in Michigan, they were drawn to the mountains and rivers of Arkansas and moved to Hot Springs Village in 2009. This gave them the opportunity to be relatively close to their daughter who lives in Texas and provided a home base from which to continue their photo journeys.  They are members of the National Park Photography Club, Hot Springs Village Camera Club, Arkansas Outdoor Photography Club, and the Heard Nature Photography Club, the latter in McKinney, TX. They have been members of the Photographic Society of America since 2011. In recent years they have been frequent presenters at local camera clubs. Sharon was also a presenter at the PSA International Conference in Salt Lake City, UT in 2018.  Their work can be seen on their website: www.sharphotoarkansas.com.
