Kent

Alex Kent has been involved in photography for over 20 years and enjoys covering a range of subject matter from nature and adventure to portraits and commercial work. While obtaining his BFA from the University of Central AR he discovered a passion for sharing his knowledge of photography and shortly thereafter started teaching classes for Bedford Camera & Video in 2006. Since then Alex has led classes and workshops for various businesses, non-profits, public & private schools, as well as camera clubs across AR, OK, MO, TN, and MS. Other than photography and teaching, his passions lie in spending time on rivers and trails. Some notable adventures are a 90-mile self-support river trip down the Chulitna in AK, 280 mile-25 day Colorado River trip through the Grand Canyon, and hiking the Inca Trail in the Andes of Peru.
